Getting ready for another season of “feeding the world”!
(I will update later with the make of the tractor and the planter) Hey at least I know it’s a John Deere. I can always tell it’s Steve with his red lunch cooler. From far away him & his brother look so much alike sometimes I can’t tell who is in the planter ( although Steve usually does most of the planting) good thing for that red cooler.
Last minute adjustment before taking off.
As Steve and his brother Jeff, start another season of feeding the world, my sister in law, Carissa and I start another season of feeding the Kramer Farming Crew. I used to make it so difficult on myself making the meal for the guys with a dessert, and trying to squeeze in all the kiddos around the table for dinner, in between racing the guys dinner out to them. I’ve learned to make it so much easier. Really? A dessert every night? Not necessary. And why so formal around the dinner table? I know I know studies have shown that kids excel in life far better when they have dinner as a family…

While I agree wholeheartedly with this article there are exceptions to the rule….for the most part we do sit around the dinner table almost every single night. And the breakfast table, and the lunch table (in the summer). So that being said, on the nights that I serve the guys dinner, I am usually a short ordered cook for the kiddos during my preparing for the guys. Its fun and gives the kids a break from being so formal.
And he is off…here’s to hoping for a smooth first evening with no hiccups. : )
