Happy Birthday George!!! You have gone from a little pip squeak to one of the “big boys” it seems overnight. This little guy was so sweet and quiet, but always loved to watch the action. Knowing he was too small to join in he was content to just watch for a while.
9 years old
He is truly one of the “big boys” now….he got his bone handled knife he has been wanting. Wearing it proudly. This guy is still such a sweetie. Works so hard at home and at school. We call him our “old soul”. A lot of times I catch him studying people. Or sometimes he’s like a grandpa giving strict reprimands to his younger brothers. He makes us laugh.
He isn’t always in grandpa mode though. He loves to build forts with his brothers & cousins, drive dirt bikes, play hide and seek in the dark. Most of all he just likes being with them no matter what they are doing.
Here are a few sweet pictures of him younger. Awhile back we watched a home movie of him when he was about 2 years old. We caught him sneaking into a pan of bars. Took the whole pan down from the counter to enjoy them on the floor. Oh so cute. It made my heart hurt that he is not that little baby boy anymore. So thankful for this precious boy. Then & Now.

Time has sure flown by. Many great memories we have made with Georgie. I pray that The Lord allows us to make many more.
When I look into the face of this precious boy, I see my dad. So blessed. It warms my heart that he looks so much like my dad.
