Bringing your color to the outside

This is take two….

This is our third summer with our back deck/porch. We are so so so happy with this expensive & looooong overdue back deck.  It had been in the works for years. Going from a deck to a cover deck to a sun porch & deck & now to an all seasons room with a covered porch.  So worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with it. The best by far of our endless projects to this house.  We have spent so much time out here the last few summers.  Looking forward to enjoying this area again now that Spring has finally come. The first year we had it the kids were so excited to eat outside many evenings. We had mounted a t.v. In the corner. So we were able to eat & watch t.v.. They said they felt like they were on vacation at a resort.  Too cute.

We still need to finish around the bottom. Maybe this summer.  So along with this long awaited back area, I have been slowly adding a few fun touches here & there to make it cozy.  The year before the big project was finished Steve put in this Bon fire pit area.  We loved it. I painted a table that we used in there to add a little fun & color to the area.  I had fallen in love with this aqua teal color a few years back.

Last year I found these cushions that are the perfect color.

This is year I decided to paint this old bistro table I’ve had. It was black before. Now it really pops.  I LOVE it.

Adding a color to your outside space really warms up the area & makes it cozy.  I love how you can actually see the table & chairs now.
