YUMMMM!
The sweet corn is ready…we LOVE LOVE LOVE corn on the cob. I like to freeze it every year so that we can enjoy it in the winter too.

My mother & father in law are always generous to have the mess at their house…
LeRoy & Steve cooked the corn outside & then cool it. We usually shuck it, bring it in to scrub the silk off, take it back out for them to cook it, bring it back in to cut it off of the cob & scoop into freezer bags….this year was so much easier. When we shucked it, we left a little of the husk still on & cooked it. Once it was done cooking, the end got cut off & then popped the corn out of the husk….No silk to scrub!!!! That saved Laurie & myself a TON of work.
