Duck Dynasty Birthday Party Decor

The Spread

The Spread

I hit the jack pot at Walmart a few months ago.  George has told me since Christmas he wants a Duck Dynasty birthday party.  Knowing he was getting a “friend” birthday party this year I kept that in the back of my mind.  Walked past this end cap at Walmart with a TON of Duck Dynasty stuff on clearance one day.  I LOVE getting by cheap with this kind of stuff.

I have a ton of burlap on hand from various projects.  I thought it would go good with this theme.  The camo plates, napkins, silverware, banner & table clothes were all from Walmart’s dollar party section.  I stumbled across this duck dynasty duck tape awhile ago in collecting my party stuff.  Wrapped mason jars with it as drinking cups.  I wrapped the silverware & stuck inside cup too for easy carrying.  (I saw a similar idea to this with a soup can & duck tape to hold utensils on pinterest.  Then I decided why not with a mason jar so they can drink out of it too.)

I made my own signs on the computer & bought about 5 sheets of this scapbook paper from Hobby Lobby. Just used tape & a hot glue gun to attach to everything.  I also made the jar labels & used the same scrapbook paper.  No need to buy labels from pinterest.  Just make your own.  Doesn’t take long AT ALL.

The cake was from Walmart.  The cake stand is this old tall bucket I’ve had for a long time from a garage sale. They didn’t have a Duck Dynasty cake on had so we just bought this little cake & went to the toy section at Walmart for the toppers. Chelsea put the cake together for me.  She had also found some premade camo fondant & cut it for the cake.  She did a GREAT job.  She’s gettin’ crafty.  : )  The bucket of cups I got for a $1. each.  as a “thank you” for coming.

I made a label for each of the games & activities we played, stuck them on a large popsicle stick & put in a mason jar.  Then I let the birthday boy pick what we did first.

The cardboard Uncle Si was used in all of the pictures, instead of flat Stanley.  The boys had a great time.  If you want to see pictures of the games & the action at the party go to the blog post Celebrating Duck Dynasty Style
