8 Reasons Why you should appreciate teachers

8 Reasons why you should show your child’s/children’s teachers they are appreciated…

1.  They are with your child/children EVERYDAY!  ALL DAY!

2. Think about those occasional days on the weekend where you think “I can’t wait for these kids to go back to school”….guess who gets them when they go back to school?  Yup! Thier teachers.  (Don’t be afraid to admit this one,  I LOVE my kids home on the weekends or breaks but there is that occasional time when I think this.  Everyone does)

3.  The time they spend on preparing/maintaning their classrooms is most likely done after hours.  AKA their personal time.

4.  Almost always, if they need extra supplies for crafts, a lesson or an activity, THEY pay for it…with THEIR money.

5.  If you appreciate and respect your child’s teacher, most likely your child will too.

6. Teachers are who your child feels or should feel safe with all day long. I mainly think of all of the horrible times teachers have had to protect their students from a terrible tragedy. Yes! We all hope our teachers would do the same for our kiddos if God forbid that ever happened. And I think they would.  Every last teacher!!!

7. They go to countless workshops & meetings only to find ways to better your child’s education or SAFETY while at school.

8. They are literally shaping our future! Five days a week!

So let’s love up our teachers this week & let them know how much we appreciate their hard work & dedication to our children & our future.
